i seem to remember Naoe mentioned something similiar in the begining of the anime series. just because they are Kanshoshas, doesnt mean they are more superior to the (Nitogoshou) ghosts and humans. their existence is also unstable (like how kagetora put it above, being in the centre of the storm) hence Kanshoshas's position aint that different than that struggling boat in the raging sea.
