Just finished reading Vol 14 and I must say, this arc is quite amusing at times. It ends with Chiaki blowing up at Kagetora (and everyone else) for continuing to evade the truth by thinking Kotarou is Naoe. Just something he said in the last few lines of dialogue... I didn't pay much attention to it at first then started chuckling to myself when I thought about it.

I'm pretty sure Chiaki said it out of anger rather than actually meaning it but I'll leave it to your imagination to come up with other theories :P

"If you want to be violated by that man so badly, then let me do it in his stead!"

Oh Chiaki.

So now the gigantic Karin arc (15-19) is next. [sigh] The last time I speed-read this arc:
♣ Takaya's grief and madness drove me nuts (my reactions ranged from @*#%&@#* to T_T)

♣ I felt like whacking Naoe. Not that he was doing anything wrong.. or bad.. or stupid.. but the accumulated frustration had me yelling "Save him already!!" but as you all know, Naoe only managed to reach Takaya when, after sinking into despair and depression for 7 volumes, he had hit bottom. Not really Naoe's fault but still... gah...

♣ Kotarou..... T_T (Damn you Motoharu! GRRRRR! I admit Motoharu is a decent character really but.... I love Kotarou more *pouts*)

♣ Nobunaga as a rock star WTF... and yes, I was getting visions of Lestat

♣ Chiaki..... T_T

♣ Kenshin, I just wanted to roast him.
