Since a few of you were curious as to how Naoe and Takaya are reunited after Vol 20, and considering that the Chinese translation of the exact chapter (Vol 24 Ch. 13) was just recently completed...

Kagetora again tries to kill himself but it's because he doesn't want to inadvertently kill Naoe with his poison - the same reason he left Naoe in Vol 20. Except of course Naoe won't give up on him... It doesn't matter to Naoe if he is killed. He tells Kagetora that he can just possess another body, and then another when that new body is destroyed by Kihachi's poison. He'll keep changing bodies as easily as how one changes his clothes, it doesn't matter if he has to rob 5 billion people of their bodies as long as he can be with Kagetora.

Takaya is pretty taken aback by his words and tells Naoe that he can't just simply kill people like that. So he attempts to throw himself off a cliff (climbs over the railing of the building and jumps) but Naoe manages to catch him and pulls him back and pins him to the ground to prevent him from escaping.

They have a nice kiss + hug. ^_^

However... Takaya starts to think that this could be just be his imagination. Naoe is not really with him, this must be an illusion (according to Takaya) because he feels that it's not possible for them to be together anymore. :(
